Station 139

The Lumberton Emergency Squad (Station 139) proudly serves as the primary provider of Emergency Medical Services for the Township of Lumberton, NJ, and the Township of Hainesport, NJ. Our organization is made up of both volunteer and career members who respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, throughout both communities and surrounding areas when additional support is needed.

At LES, our mission is grounded in compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to the residents we serve. Every call we respond to—whether large or small—is treated with the highest level of care, respect, and dedication. Our members work tirelessly to ensure that individuals and families in our community receive timely, skilled, and compassionate medical assistance when they need it most.

All LES members are certified by the New Jersey Department of Health as Emergency Medical Technicians, and many also hold National Registry EMT certification, demonstrating their advanced training, professionalism, and commitment to the highest standards of prehospital care.

LES is proud to have been one of the first agencies in the region to implement all expanded-scope medications and procedures available to BLS providers under current New Jersey protocols. This reflects our commitment to innovation, clinical excellence, and staying at the forefront of prehospital care.

The Lumberton Emergency Squad is fully licensed by the New Jersey Office of EMS. We are a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and a registered New Jersey nonprofit corporation.
